“The Bachelor” winner Catherine Giudici had some fun with her social media followers in her latest post, and some fans admitted they weren’t sure how to react to it.
On December 2, Giudici posted a professional photo on her Instagram page that showed her with her three children. In the caption, she wrote, “Merry Christmas from the four of us!”
Her husband, former “The Bachelor” lead Sean Lowe, was not in the picture nor mentioned in the caption.

Fans flooded the comment section of Giudici’s post with responses about Lowe’s absence. Many knew she was joking, while others were distraught over the possibility the pair had split.
Luckily, quite a few of Giudici’s Instagram followers saw a response from Lowe near the top of the comment section. “Feels like this photo could be better,” he wrote.
In less than 24 hours, Lowe’s comment received nearly 4,000 “likes” along with a string of responses.
“Seems pretty perfect as is, lol,” teased one fan.
Another joked, “Seems complete to me. 🤷🏻♀️”
“Let the rumors begin from those who don’t know your humor,” commented one of Giudici’s followers.
Bachelor Nation Had a Lot to Say About the Photo
The top comment on Giudici’s Instagram post isn’t from Lowe, though. It’s from a fan who admitted she initially panicked.
“** me frantically looking at your last posts to see what I missed. **The joke. I missed the joke,” the commenter wrote.
Another fan responded to the comment writing, “SAME. ☠️☠️”
A separate comment read, “This scared me until I saw Sean’s comment lol.”
“That’s not nice Cathrine (sic). About had a heart attack before I read the comments. Love you guys,” someone else wrote.
Another initially worried fan commented, “Don’t freak me out like that!!!!!!!”
“THE WAY THIS CAPTION MADE MY HEART SINK RIGHT AWAY 🙃 thank you for commenting quickly, @seanloweksu 😂,” added a different Instagram user.
A supporter gushed, “As soon as I saw the pic I started laughing! You have the best family and that’s how you stay together…by being able to joke around and appreciate humor lol!!”
Several commenters noticed that the couple’s boys, Isaiah and Samuel, were wearing barong, a type of shirt traditionally worn in the Philippines. Giudici gave her Filipino heritage a nod with the clothing pick for the photos.
In March 2021, Giudici talked about her connection to the Filipino community on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast.
“My mom is full Filipino. She’s born in the States and she is a Filipino historian,” Giudici explained. She added that her mother even wrote a book on Filipino history when she was younger.
When one fan asked in the comment section if the kids were wearing barong, Giudici replied, “Yes! Good eye!”
