5. ‘Meet Me Next Christmas’

Who doesn’t love a romance movie set at Christmastime? Layla, played by an adorable Christina Milian, has plans to meet the man of her dreams at a Pentatonix show, but it’s sold out. To track down an elusive ticket, Layla enlists the help of concierge Teddy (Devale Ellis). An adventure through the city ensues: from running an errand for an eccentric rich couple to competing in a boots-down-the-house ball. Some of the best moments come from the hilarious Pentatonix singers who instinctively harmonize without warning. 

4. ‘Our Little Secret’

A cast with chemistry! The charismatic Lindsay Lohan stars as Avery, the hardworking woman who travels with her boyfriend Cameron (Jon Rudnitsky) to his family’s home for the holidays. She meets his parents and siblings, including his hard-to-please mother, played the wickedly funny Kristin Chenoweth. While mingling, she runs into the one who got away, Logan (Ian Harding). Lindsay and Ian sizzle on screen and Kristin steals every scene she enters. 

3. ‘Let It Snow’

Based on the book “Let It Snow: Three Holiday Romances” by John Green, Lauren Myracle, and Maureen, this coming-of-age movie takes place on Christmas Eve. Through shared feelings and one snowstorm, this group of teens comes together to relate. This heartwarming romcom stars Kiernan Shipka best known for playing Sally Draper on “Mad Men.”

Nina Dobrev plays Natalie Bauer, a Los Angeles woman experiencing the joys of modern romance through the world of dating apps. After forming a long-distance relationship with online hunk Josh, she decides to surprise him and fly to New York for the holidays. Of course, there’s a catch: she’s never met Josh in person. When she arrives, she discovers she’s been catfished by the real Josh, played by the very funny Jimmy O. Yang. To make up for his blunder, Josh helps Natalie woo the “fake” Josh she saw in photos, whose actual name is Tag (Darren Barnet). It’s a heartfelt humorous romance about looking deeper and appreciating personality. And bonus, comedienne Heather McMahan makes an appearance!

The beguiling Michael Urie, best known for his breakout role in “Ugly Betty”, plays Peter, a perpetually single guy who’s sick of his family questioning his dating life. To solve the age-old problem of who to bring home for the holidays, he convinces his best friend Nick (Philemon Chambers)to fake it as his boyfriend. His family doesn’t buy it and his mom ( played by the always funny Kathy Najimy) sets him up on a blind date. Confusion is aplenty as Peter tries to navigate this new man in his life and the old one he’s treasured forever. As a special treat for viewers, comedy queen Jennifer Coolidge pops in as Aunt Sandy. It’s funny, flirty, and fun: no wonder it’s our number one Christmas movie pick!
