Renowned music composer Ilaiyarajaa left for London on Thursday (March 6, 2025) morning for the release of his much-awaited debut symphony titled ‘Valiant,’ which will be performed live at Apollo Theatre, London, on March 8. Addressing mediapersons at Chennai airport, he said he would present his western classical symphony along with the illustrious Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. “It will be undoubtedly a musical treat for ardent music buffs. This is not for my pride. But India’s pride. You can say ‘Incredible Ilaiyarajaa’ like you say ‘Incredible India’,” he said. When asked about this significant milestone in his career, he said he felt as ecstatic as music lovers about his historic performance. Earlier, many political leaders and film personalities conveyed their wishes for the special event. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin had visited the maestro at his residence in Chennai on Sunday (March 2, 2025) and presented a memento. Published – March 06, 2025 03:14 pm IST
