Baisali Mohanty

Baisali Mohanty (conceived 5 August 1994) is an Indian old style artist and choreographer, creator, editorialist and investigator of unfamiliar and public approach. Early life and education

Baisali Mohanty was brought into the world on 5 August 1994 in Puri, Odisha, to prestigious women’s activist, artist and creator Manasi Pradhan and Radha Binod Mohanty, an electrical specialist from the Indian Institute of Technology. She was taught at Blessed Sacrament High School Puri and KIIT International School, Bhubaneswar. She accepted her four year certification in Politics and International Relations from the Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi. She procured her Master’s Degree from University of Oxford with first division thinking of her thesis on Nuclear Diplomacy.

Dancing career

Baisali Mohanty accepted her preparation in Odissi dance from eminent Odissi educator Padma Shri Guru Gangadhar Pradhan for north of 10 years until his death. She got advance preparation in Choreography from another famous Odissi educator and choreographer Padma Shri Guru Ileana Citaristi. she holds a Visharad Degree in Odissi hit the dance floor with top of the line differentiation. She has been performing solo and gathering movements with her own dance organization “Baisali Mohanty and Troupe” in global and public celebrations for more than fifteen years.

Oxford Odissi Centre

In 2015, she established the Oxford Odissi Center at University of Oxford to advocate Indian traditional dance at the varsity.
