On “Hear My Chains,” debuted on one of the most bizarre YouTube freestyle shows yet where a rapper performs into a Ring security camera, the beat is composed of ominous church bells, stuttering Michigan-style drums, and the sound of rattling chains that feel like wind chimes on a stormy night. Meanwhile, Chuckyy’s congested voice and ahead-of-the-beat flow only make his macabre raps that much more sinister.
