Dana Hourani
Dana Hourani, born on November 20, 1986, in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, is a talented Dubai-based Lebanese singer and visual artist. Her musical journey has captivated many with her unique style and powerful voice. Dana’s career took off in 2019, and she has since made significant contributions to the music industry, especially through her participation in the North Vision Song Contest.

Dana’s passion for music became evident when she started uploading cover songs on YouTube. These covers showcased her vocal talent and musical versatility, quickly gaining her a following. On April 30, 2019, she released her debut single, “Ella Enta” (إلاّ إنتَ), marking the official start of her professional music career. The single was well-received, establishing Dana as a promising new artist in the Arab music scene.
Following the success of her debut single, Dana released “Lahza” (لحظة) on September 3, 2019. This song further solidified her presence in the industry. With “Lahza,” Dana competed to represent Lebanon at the North Vision Song Contest 33 through the national selection process called A Song for Lebanon. Although she placed second in the national selection, the experience motivated her to continue pursuing her musical dreams. She later participated in the OGAN Second Chance Contest with “Lahza,” finishing twenty-third out of twenty-six entries.
Dana entered the national selection for the North Vision Song Contest 35, known as mahrajan al’aghnia. This time, she won the selection and represented Lebanon in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Dana’s performance at the contest was impressive, and she qualified for the final, finishing in fifteenth place with 200 points.Dana’s collaborations with other artists have also been noteworthy. She worked with Anthony Khoury, the lead singer of the band Adonis, on several of her releases. In February 2020, she featured on Adonis’ track “Jeet Kermalak” (جيت كرمالك) from their album A’da. This collaboration highlighted Dana’s ability to blend her style with other artists, creating memorable music.
Dana’s debut album, Ensanein (إنسانين), was released on November 17, 2021. The album, recorded entirely in Beirut, features twelve tracks. Six of these tracks were new, while the other six had been previously released as singles. The album showcased Dana’s growth as an artist and her ability to create a cohesive body of work that resonated with her audience.
