Palina Kolenitchenko is a well-renowned international DJ and aspiring actor.Under the stage name Palina La Diva, she has performed for brands such as Absolut Vodka, MTV, Grey Goose, Red Bull and worked with artists like Eric Bellinger and DJ Antoine. Now based out of New York City, Palina continues to follow her dreams behind the decks and in front of the camera. Close-up Culture caught up with her to talk about her lavish lifestyle, female DJs, acting and much more.
The 19-year-old started early to be interested in art and music. Her whole life has been accompanied by music. At just 4 years old, she started dancing ballet. At the age of 13, she exchanged ballet for hip hop / street dance and realized that she not only loves black music, but LIVES it. Through her longer stays in Miami and NYC, she has penetrated the hip hop world. When she attended Felix Varela Senior High School in Miami, she spent her breaks watching the rappers freestyle.

Polina was quickly part of night life. It was less about celebrating herself, but more about watching how people react to the music.
Very early on, she had the desire to stand behind the turntables. Whenever possible, Polina tried to make people dance. At home parties, the beginning was to connect their cell phones to a system and play music from them.

Her passion for hip hop, rnb and trap assured her many gigs all over the world.Palina has worked with prestigious, universally recognized brands such as moet & chandon, playboy, belvedere, mtv, grey goose, red bull, bumble, w hotels, sls hotels, netflix and more. she recently dj’d the official oscar gifting suite at the loews hotel in hollywood, where oscar winners and nominees danced to her set. palina’s talent has gotten the attention of major artists such as t-pain, who took her on his 1up tour, as well as eric bellinger brought her to perform on stage with him for his berlin show.
Her strongest suit is her ability to get every single person in the room up and dancing, no matter the genre. palina looks forward to continuing to lend her dynamic talents to parties and events worldwide.”
