MOVE IT returns… but not as you know it. This December MOVE IT is back for a two-hour online Christmas spectacular, bringing the dance community together, as only we know how! Featuring two incredible dance classes from headline MOVE IT acts, Layton Williams and Lizzie Gough, this is your chance to learn from the best, try new styles and most importantly have some fun! That’s not all… you can expect front row seats to exclusive celebrity drop-ins and interviews with our very own energetic, dare we say cheeky, host Dean McCullough who will be bringing it all to life with his usual mix of fun and entertainment. So, limber up, get those dancing feet ready and join us for an incredible two hour MOVE IT Christmas special. So, save the date – Saturday 12th December – 2pm – 4pm GMT. All for just £12! _______________________ Introducing our headliners… LAYTON WILLIAMS Layton began his career at the age of 12 playing the title role of Billy in the West End production of Billy Elliot. He made his debut TV appearance as Kylie in the BBC comedy Beautiful People. He went on to train at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts which was documented on CBBC’s School For Stars. As the director of ‘Pros From The Shows’, Layton provides high quality workshops for young performers. They’ve reached thousands of students across the country hoping to inspire the next generation and nurture talent. He is currently playing Jamie in the ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’ tour. _______________________ LIZZIE GOUGH Lizzie is currently a choreographer for BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing Couples Choice and group routines. Earlier in the year she was part of the new Sadler’s Wells & Universal Music UK production with ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company, ‘Message In A Bottle’ in London’s Westend as an assistant choreographer and playing the role of Anvi. In 2019 she was very grateful to be part of the team that revived ZooNation’s ‘Some Like It Hip Hop’ as an assistant choreographer, dance captain and also playing the lead role of JoJo. _______________________ Introducing our Celeb Drop In Sessions With… NEIL JONES We’re so excited to have Strictly Come Dancing pro Neil Jones joins us at the Christmas Special! Did you know that over 30 years Neil has won 45 titles world-wide! He has also appeared on Britain’s Got Talent and choreographed for Strictly and Children in Need. The star will be popping in for a quick virtual chat with host Dean McCullough, this is your chance to get your questions answered and find out all of the latest goss! _______________________ KIMBERLY WYATT Kimberly Wyatt, singer, dancer, choreographer, TV personality, Pussycat Doll and MOVE IT’s first ever Creative Ambassador (2016) is joining us for a virtual celebrity drop-in on 12 December. Tune in to find out what’s up and coming for the Pussycat Dolls and how Kimberly has been keeping busy during this lockdown, including her social media dance collaborations and funding for children over the holidays! _______________________ DIVINA DE CAMPO Special guest Divina De Campo will also be joining us for a quick virtual chat as she discusses her brand-new Christmas EP, jam packed with campory and Christmas beats! Divina De Campo is best know for being the runner up for the first series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. Divina is so excited to share some frivolous joy and laughter this season! Download the EP here _______________________ BEVERLEY KNIGHT We’re so excited to catch up with Beverley Knight as part of our celebrity drop in sessions at the MOVE IT Christmas Special. Beverley will be talking all things festive, as she recently released her brand-new single, which is the theme tune for the film ‘Loss Adjuster’. She recorded the music video for the single ‘A Christmas Wish’ in an empty Noel Coward Theatre in London in support of, the UK’s theatre industry. Listen to her new single.. _______________________ Presented by… DEAN MCCULLOUGH We missed him at MOVE IT! Dean McCullough is a TV & Radio presenter. He trained in musical theatre at Laine Theatre Arts before being scouted by the team at MOVE IT to host at the show in 2010. 10 years later Dean is now one of the UKs most exciting young broadcasters. He has worked with BBC, Channel 4 and ITV and proudly hosts the Gaydio Breakfast show. He has travelled the world making radio, hosted live events across Europe and interviewed some of the biggest names on the planet including Kylie Minogue, Little Mix, Todrick Hall & Billy Porter.
