Grammy 2019: Best Looks by Daria Beloyvan Stylist

The 61st Grammy Awards 2019 ended just a few days ago. And how not to discuss the images of the stars who were present at the ceremony: Lady Gaga, Kattie Perry, Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa, Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum and many others. To do this, we asked fashion historian and stylist Daria Beloyvan to comment on the outfits of the stars.

61st Grammy Awards 2019“This year, the girls sparkled in long floor-length dresses with fluffy skirts, outfits decorated with sequins and sequins, and even sophisticated jumpsuits. And the key trends were monochrome makeup, pink and beige shades,” says the stylist.

Daria notes that this year Lady Gaga decided not to shock. But at the same time, she managed to become one of the brightest stars on the carpet in the Celine by Hedi Slimane outfit. Lady Gaga shone in a sparkling, high-cut bustier dress, Jimmy Choo stiletto sandals and Tiffany & Co. jewelery. To complete the look, the singer chose loose textured strands and delicate makeup with an emphasis on the eyes.

But Katty Perry was surprised, says Daria Beloyvan. The singer wore a soft pink Balmain bustier dress with a puffy hem. The stylist notes that the short haircut was very useful, emphasizing the beautiful long neck and shoulders of the singer, and the asymmetric earrings from Djula complemented the unusual look.

Jennifer Lopez wore a tight-fitting floor-length dress from the spring haute couture collection and a wide-brimmed hat to match the dress, all by Ralph & Russo. The stylist notes the interesting move of the singer, who decided not to change anything, completely entrust her image to the designer’s taste.

Miley Cyrus was in her signature style, says Daria Beloyvan. For the Grammy, the star chose a black two-piece trouser suit from Mugler, wearing an elongated jacket over the naked body, and minimalist sandals with thin straps and an interesting heel. The look was complemented by Loree Rodkin earrings, natural makeup, beach curls and a perky mood.

Grammy 2019 Best New Artist of the Year winner Dua Lipa wore a tight-fitting Versace long train dress for the ceremony. A sleek bob and neutral makeup shades completed the pop singer look.
Another star in pale pink at the ceremony is Kylie Jenner. She chose an outfit from the Balmain Haute Couture SS 2019 collection. Our fashion expert Daria Beloyvan notes that the outfit looked very unusual. Kylie complemented the image with snow-white Jimmy Choo pumps and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Heidi Klum was very effective in Daria’s opinion. The 45-year-old supermodel wore an all-white Stephane Rolland outfit. A mini dress with a plunging neckline emphasized her perfect figure and long legs. The stylist believes that unusual tailoring of sleeves added zest to the image. Heidi finished off the look with large Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings.

Camila Cabeio opted for a luxurious sparkly, muted fuchsia dress from Armani Prive for the walk down the carpet. Camila set off her image with large earrings with stones to match the outfit. But the best accessory, in the opinion of our stylist Daria, was the hairstyle – a fluffy low ponytail and bangs on both sides. Pink smoky eyes, blush and beige lip gloss completed the look.

Daria Beloyvan considers Cardi B to be the most talked about and extravagant at the 2019 Grammy Awards. She chose an extravagant outfit from the vintage Mugler Couture collection, the stylist notes. The daisy dress was first presented at the show in 1995. The singer complemented her shocking outfit with long gloves, precious Gismondi 1754 jewelry and a pearl hat over a high bun.
