Indira Naik
Indira was exposed to music at a very early age as her father is a Sarod and Sitar player and mother a Bharat Natyam guru.
Winning in her school singing competitions made her parents and herself take music seriously and Indira started training under Pt. Satyanarayan Singh of the Patiala gharana. Later Mohinderjeet Singh train her voice. Over the years, she studied under Dayal Thakur and ghazals under the late Vithal Rao of Hyderabad.
Indira composes most of her songs. Creating music which is a tribute to age old traditions set against the backdrop of modern times.

Having toured widely all over the world, Indira has built a reputation for herself, enthralling audiences with live renditions the world over including the U.S., the UK, Portugal and Brunei as well across the length and breadth of India.
She has toured the Caribbean Isles and South America through the cultural exchange program of the ICCR ( Govt. Of India ) and is a regular artiste on the All India Radio.
Indira was invited to represent India at the Jeonju Sori Festival organized by the Govt. Of South Korea.
