Dutch singer who finished as the runner-up on the fifth season of the singing competition Idols and released her first single, “How Bad,” shortly thereafter. She was previously a contestant on The Voice of Holland.
Kimberly (born in 1992) had ‘it’ from early on, already clear that she wanted nothing more than to stand on stage and entertain people. She began her musical career as a little girl in professional musicals like ‘The Sound of Music’ and’ Annie.’ At age 15, she enrolled at the Academy for Music and Dance and Kim developed into a fully-fledged artist who had only one goal: to make music and to perform.
At the Conservatory of Rotterdam, Kimberly (then 18) she quickly realised she wanted to be active in the industry more than she was allowed to by school. She stopped training and participated in ‘The Voice of Holland‘ where they won the wild card by Radio 538 and ended up in the team of (ex Dolly Dots singer) Angela Groothuizen. After just a little taste of the music biz, Kimberly knew for sure she wanted to go for a solo career.

The live shows of Idols gave just a glimpse of what she can do and now more than ever she’s ready to show the country and the world just who she is. Pop is about to be refreshed. more of her Idols performances- the song Stone Cold by Demi Lovato in a bathtub and the song Love on Top by Beyoncé.
