Kumail Nanjiani will release a comedy special on Hulu, his first stand-up special in over a decade. The show will mark his second-ever standup special.

Since Nanjiani’s first comedy special, Beta Male, in 2013, he’s starred in projects such as HBO’s Silicon Valley and Hulu’s Welcome to Chippendales, with other appearances on shows like Only Murders in the Building. He picked up an Oscar nod for his screenplay on The Big Sick and previously hosted The Meltdown With Jonah and Kumail, a Comedy Central stand-up series.

Nanjiani will produce the not-yet-tiled special with Elan Gale and Bernie Schaeffer. Although a release date and title have yet to be released, the special adds to Hulu’s efforts to highlight seasoned comics.

Hulu launched it’s latest stand-up comedy brand Hularious back in November with Jim Gaffigan’s The Skinny special. Hulu disbanded its “Hulu’s Laughing Now” label in November. The streamer then released the Illana Glazer: Human Magic in December, which delved into Glazer’s awkward high school years and raising a family as a pothead. Roy Wood Jr.: Lonely Flowers followed in January, explored how guns, customer service encounters, and self-checkout lanes drive a wedge in human connection. On the horizon, Hulu plans to release comedy specials helmed by Ralph Barbosa, Bill Burr, Chris Distefano, Zarna Garg, Jessica Kirson, Matteo Lane, Sebastian Maniscalco, Atsuko Okatsuka, Frankie Quiñones, and Andrew Santino.
