Sanal was granted the Kerala State Television Award 2016 for the Malayalam short film Chaver.

Early life

Sanal George hails from Peruvannamuzhi close to Calicut, Kerala. He finished his graduation prior to taking up his post-graduation course in Sound Recording and Design from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. While at FTII, he was granted the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) and Resul Pookutty Foundation Scholarship for scholastic greatness.

Career

He began his profession as an Assistant Sound Mixer in Shashant Shah’s ‘Chalo Dilli’ in 2010. Throughout the long term, he has worked in different tasks including however not restricted to highlight films, short movies and narratives as Sound Designer and Production Sound Mixer. He was related with Aamir Khan’s film Dangal as an associate sound recordist to Subhadeep Mitra.

Sanal George was one of the 200 graduated class of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTTI) in Pune who have composed a letter to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting communicating objection over the foundation's choice to never again permit heads of divisions to be a piece of the scholarly council.
