Saumya Joshi
Joshi was brought into the world on 3 July 1973 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat to Jayant Joshi and Neela Joshi. He finished his essential and optional training from Vijaynagar High School, Ahmedabad in 1990. He finished his Bachelor of Arts from H.K Arts College, Ahmedabad in 1993 and Master of Arts from School of Languages of Gujarat University in 1995 with English writing as one of his subjects.
Career
Joshi began his vocation as a Professor of English writing in his institute of matriculation H. K. Expressions College in 1995. In 2010, he established the Fade-In Theater with other youthful performance center individuals. He found employment elsewhere as a teacher in September 2011 to seek after the theater.
Joshi began to compose sonnets at 18 years old. His first sonnet was distributed in Kavilok. In this manner, his sonnets were distributed in other Gujarati magazines including Shabdasrishti, Kavita, Shabdalay, Navneet Samarpan, and Kumar. He appeared in Gujarati theater with his play Rami Lo Ne Yaar!.

Poetry
Greenroomma (In the Greenroom), his main assortment of sonnets, was distributed in 2008. Plays
He appeared in Gujarati theater with his play Rami Lo Ne Yaar!. He got widely praised for his play Dost Chokkas Ahin Ek Nagar Vastu Hatu, a melodic dark satire dependent on 2002 Gujarat riots. This play provoked The Week magazine to name Joshi as one of the 50 rising stars of India in 2003. Before long, his play Aathma Taaru Nu Aakash turned into the primary play from Gujarat to be chosen for the renowned Prithvi Theater Festival in Mumbai in 2005. Joshi won Yuva Gaurav Puraskar (2007) and Takhtasinh Parmar Prize (2008-09) for his commitment in Gujarati writing. He got Chandravadan Chimanlal Mehta Award, named after prestigious Gujarati screenwriter Chandravadan Mehta, in 2013 for his commitment in Gujarati theater. He is additionally a beneficiary of the Ravji Patel Award, Balvantray Thakor Prize and Sadbhavna Award (2014).
