Sayani Palit
Sayani Palit (Bengali: সায়নি পালিত; conceived 5 July 1989) is an Indian old style and semi-traditional entertainer, playback vocalist, music arranger and entertainer from Kolkata, West Bengal. Filling in as a playback vocalist in Tollywood throughout the previous 5 years, In 2015, Sayani made her Bollywood debut, singing the melody, Ove Janiye Repeat for Katti Batti under the bearing of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Her greatest break in her melodic profession occurred, when she won the Benadryl Enormous Brilliant Voice Season 2 decided by Shankar Mahadevan.
Early life
Sayani Palit began her melodic profession when she was only 4 years. She proceeded with her melodic tutelage for quite some time under Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty and her better half Chandana Chakraborty. Afterward, when she was a researcher of ITC Sangeet Exploration Foundation, she took taleem from Padma Bhushan Girija Devi. A top of the line first in Single guy’s and graduate degree in Traditional Music from Calcutta College, Sayani is a standard performing craftsman of All India Radio. At present she is a Ph.D. research researcher in ‘Impact of Thumri in film music’.

- Sayani received the State Award for the role model category from the honourable Governor of West Bengal.
- National scholarship award for the young artists. 2010/2011 from the ministry of culture Govt of India.
- 1st class 1st in bachelor’s degree in 2011 & Masters’ in 2013 under CU.
- Currently pursuing PhD in music from CU.
- Received Telegraph award for excellence in 2006.
- Sayani has been awarded the Benadryl Big Golden Voice of India Season 2 title (judged by Shankar Mahadevan).
- Sayani has recently been nominated as the ‘Best Budding Playback Singer’ at the Mirchi Music Awards Bangla 2014.
- Her recent video “Reliving Rahman” has been appreciated by Music Maestro A. R. Rahman himself.
