Renowned international DJ and producer Sebastien Drums, hailing from the French Cote D'Azur, has firmly established his position as a leading figure in the new wave of global house music DJs and producers. His meteoric rise to prominence can be attributed to his chart-topping collaboration with the legendary Avicii and their smash hit "My Feelings For You," which sent shockwaves through the music scene. This infectious track, featuring a sample from Cassius' iconic original, seized the coveted Beatport No. 1 spot for an entire month and received resounding support from a constellation of world-renowned DJs, including David Guetta, Bob Sinclar, Laidback Luke, Roger Sanchez, and Robbie Riviera. It was a staple in Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 playlist and found its way onto prestigious labels like Superstar (Germany), Vicious (Austria), Work Machine (France), and Vendetta (Spain).
By the age of 11 Sebastien had fallen in love with electronic music and was heavily influenced by Daft Punk, Cassius, Bob Sinclar, Thomas Bangalter, and Antoine Clamaran by the time he decided to start DJing. From 2006 to 2008, Sebastien became a resident at the Palas, a well-known nightclub in the Cote D’Azur, where he played alongside Axwell, Steve Angello, Benny Benassi, Little Louie Vega, and many more. Within that time Sebastien worked on many remixes for artists like Antoine Clamaran (Get Down), Alex Gaudino (Que Pasa Contigo), David Vendetta (Break For Love), Sandy Vee (Be Together), Celeda (The Underground), and even DJ Ralph (Keep On). His remixes were played by the likes of Erick Morillo, Laidback Luke, and Roger Sanchez („upfront track“ in his radio program ‘Release Yourself’). The pivotal year of 2009 witnessed Sebastien's breakthrough with notable releases like "Funky Beep," which dominated the 2009 Miami Winter Music Conference and became an Ibiza anthem during the summer season. It was also in 2009 that Sebastien crossed paths with Avicii, leading to a prolific creative partnership that spawned tracks like "Big Colossus," "Wet Groove," "Pastis," "Even," and their monumental hit "My Feelings For You," which dropped in March 2010.
In October 2010, Sebastien achieved another milestone when his track " Funky Bee" created with Tim Berg (aka AVICII) and Norman Doray, was signed to Steve Angello's legendary Size Records. This track garnered widespread acclaim, gracing the live sets of Swedish House Mafia and earning support from globally acclaimed DJs like Bob Sinclar, David Guetta, Laidback Luke, Dirty South, and Roger Sanchez, securing a high position on the Beatport Top 100 chart.
Following this success, Sebastien embarked on a global touring spree, performing at esteemed venues across France, Spain, Italy, the UK, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Australia, Brazil, Azerbaijan, and more. His DJ prowess earned him opportunities to share the stage with fellow French DJ luminaries like David Guetta and Martin Solveig at massive festivals and renowned clubs such as Cocoon (Frankfurt), Palais (Cannes), and Ministry of Sound (London).
Sebastien's musical journey continued to flourish with standout tracks like "Snus," another collaboration with Avicii, a remix of Albin Myers' "Faking Love," and a scorching remix of David Guetta's "Turn Me On" featuring Nicki Minaj, all of which garnered enthusiastic support from industry heavyweights.
Other tracks such as "Here I Come" and the chart-climbing "French Rules" (both released on Stealth Records), along with "Fly Again" and "Resonorg" (both on Spinnin'), also received accolades and widespread acclaim.
In a significant career move, Sebastien secured his first Ibiza residency at Space, where he performed an impressive 10 times in 2012. He continued to shine on the Ibiza scene by confirming his residency at Pacha Ibiza in 2013, with nine dates shared between the legendary Pure Pacha events and the new Epica nights. Additionally, Sebastien delivered two outstanding performances at the Blue Marlin Ibiza Sundays.
The year 2014 marked another high point in Sebastien Drums' career. His 2012 track "Here I Come" was handpicked by the Swedish House Mafia to feature prominently in their DJ sets, cementing his reputation as a rising star. This support culminated in a bootleg version of "Here I Come" and an acapella of "Leave The World Behind," produced by Axwell himself. This new rendition became a standout track in the Swedish House Mafia's documentary "Leave The World Behind" and their live Soundtrack album "One Last Tour."
Sebastien continued to make waves in the music industry, signing a deal with Ultra Records/Sony Music and releasing "Wonka" in July 2014. He also treated his fans to "In The Stars," a collaborative effort with his friend Rib Adans, which he offered as a free download. His latest single, "Brighter Than Gold," was eagerly anticipated by his global fan base.
In the summer of 2014, Sebastien Drums took on the role of resident DJ for the massive Neon Splash events at Privilege/Ibiza and headlined the inaugural Neon Splash event in France. His future prospects continued to shine brightly as he embarked on tours across the USA, Russia, Brazil, Asia, Europe, and Australia, solidifying his status as a rising superstar in the world of house music.
