Ajay Devgn‘s sports drama ‘Maidaan‘ completed its first week in theatres, garnering an estimated Rs 30 crore at the box office. Despite facing tough competition, the film managed to hold its ground amidst fluctuating collections during the weekdays.
The sports-centric film experienced a slight surge in numbers on Wednesday, adding an estimated Rs 2 crore to its total earnings.This brought the film’s seven-day collection to approximately Rs 27.1 crore nett. However, early estimates from sacnilk.com suggest that the film’s gross collections reached around Rs 29.9 crore.

Additionally, ‘Maidaan’ received a boost from overseas markets, with an additional Rs 6.1 crore contributing to its global box office total of approximately Rs 36 crore.
