In our previous interaction, Nargis Fakhri had opened up about her love for sailing. But that’s not the only water-based activity she likes to indulge in. The actress, who calls herself a waterbaby, enjoys a lot more adventurous activities.
During sailing, Nargis who was last seen in the web show Tatlubaaz, also likes to “paddle board, swim, do kayaking and jet skiing.” But she also likes to, “sit on the deck, stare away at the waters, enjoy the peace and quiet and eat some good food.”
While she did enjoy snorkeling, she “failed” at her first attempt at scuba diving and wishes to try her hand at it again.Recollecting the last time she tried it at the Andaman Islands, she shared, “I got trained straight in the sea. Usually, first-time divers get trained in a pool, right? So, the dive freaked me out. I panicked seeing all the underwater creatures too. There were so many in there.”
The actress also enjoys wakeboarding. “Lisa Haydon is one person I know who does wakeboarding quite well,” she says, adding, “I love fishing too. Also, have you tried clamming? It is super fun. I did it for the first time in Abu Dhabi. So, you get off your boat and onto the sand bars. The water is just above your knee. You have to dig in the sand for clams. I went home with the fresh catch and I made pasta with the clams,” she says.

Nargis whose favourite destinations for sailing include Greece and Dubai also doles out some sailing tips. She shares, “One must take up early morning or sunset sails. People should wear lots of sunscreen, have anti-nausea pills in case they have seasickness, have coconut water to keep themselves hydrated, wear cotton or linen dresses or simply a bikini.”
