![Growing up learning Indian Classical Music, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for diverse musical genres, and techno is definitely one that has captured my interest. A few days ago, it was known that Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu have teamed up again for a comedy film titled ‘Khel Khel Mein‘. The shoot had been wrapped up in March this year. Mudassar Aziz known for his movies like ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi’ and ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ has helmed the project and he had announced the film’s wrap along with the cast and crew.
The makers had announced the film and also that the shoot has been wrapped up.The post read, “That’s a wrap! Filming for #KhelKhelMein starring #AkshayKumar #TaapseePannu #VaaniKapoor #AmmyVirk #AdityaSeal #PragyaJaiswal & #FardeenKhan in the lead has concluded. Brace yourself for an exhilarating mix of laughter and drama, written and directed by #MudassarAziz.” The movie started shooting in October last year.
Meanwhile, now, the release date of the film is touted to co-incide with Akshay Kumar’s birthday week. A report in Pinkvilla read, that the film will release on September 6, 2024 while it’s Akshay’s birthday on September 9. Hence, it would be a treat for all the fans of the actor. The movie also stars Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal and Aditya Seal.
As per the report, the movie is a situational comedy with three couples. Akshay had said in an interview that he’s getting back to the comedy genre with a number of movies lined up. Apart from ‘Khel Khel Mein’, he also has ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ and ‘Housefull 5’.
