Aneesa Badshaw (aneesabadshaw) is a Canadian fashion model, actress, recording artist, and creative director.In addition to that triple threat, she’s considered one of Canada’s top urban Indo-Guyanese fashion models. Born in Hamilton, the dynamic young model was raised in Toronto and Mississauga, Ontario where she attended The Woodlands Secondary School.
Aneesa started her career as a model with photographers Ananya Burman and Michael Katwaroo. Badshaw works with Amol Gupta and partner Samuel Enrique of Standout Entertainment. She has since been casted in several music videos, working for reputable artists such as , Drake, Baka Not Nice (OVO Sound), Karl Wolf, Sean Paul, Deep Jandhu, Keffa Leng , and Sean Kingston,Riff Raff, Kanye West’s protege Cyhi the Prynce, Eminem’s artist KXNG CROOKED, Bubba Sparxx,Harvey Stripes, Charly Black, Tommy Lee, Sikka Rhymes, Deewunn, Eyesus, RoachKilla, Garry Sandhu.
She has been credited in the movie “Below Her Mouth” directed by April Mullen. She’s also worked with a famous painter, Nicola Verlato for a Nuit Blanche project. Badshaw is currently working with multi-platinum celebrity publicist Jonathan Hay on several major projects coming out in 2017 including her own debut single and she’s currently working on two reality shows that will air this year.
Aneesa had abundant success in 2018 when she was hand picked by Miss Globe Canada to represent Guyana at the pageant in Beijing, China. This was huge moment and milestone for her career, as she got crowned the winner of Miss South America and also Miss Entertainer.
