Fans are gushing about Vanna White’s son Nikko Santo Pietro after he appeared in a video cooking with her.
“In celebration of Fabulous Food Week, Nikko and I are whipping up Uncle Roy’s Chicken. YUM!” White wrote on her Facebook page with the video, urging people to “screenshot the recipe at the end and give it a try at home!”
“First of all, I am not a good cook, but fortunately my son Nikko is,” White said.
“What an incredibly awesome son you have, and the dish looked literally amazing,” a fan wrote on White’s Facebook page.
According to US Weekly, Santo Pietro, 30, is one of Vanna White’s two kids with her ex-husband George Santo Pietro. Nikko Santo Pietro is a real estate agent, his LinkedIn page says. Santo Pietro is on Instagram, where he also shared the cooking video.
Santo Pietro received rave reviews in the comment thread of White’s Facebook page. “I don’t cook. I could watch Vanna’s son cooking everyday,” a fan wrote.
Another fan wrote, “Regardless of the dish, I love seeing you with your son. I have 2 sons and welcome any time together with them (especially since they’re adults and have their own lives).”
Wrote another person, “Good to see you Vanna!!! What a handsome son you have! And he cooks!!”

Santo Pietro went to Oregon State University and has worked for a natural health food store, according to his page.
Vanna White Revealed That Her Son Nikko ‘Does the Cooking’

“This is how you peel ginger,” Nikko told the audience at one point in the video. His mom asked why he wasn’t using a potato peeler. He showed her “it doesn’t work,” and she responded, “I’ll leave it to you,” and said she would do the “clean-up” instead.
“He does the cooking,” White said. At another point in the video, they both wore sunglasses while cutting onions and White recommended it to avoid crying. She also said that chewing gum while cutting onions will help a person not cry.
Nikko steamed onions with ginger and cooked chicken during the video. Nikko revealed that he was adding salt to the recipe even though his mom doesn’t like salt.
