Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson are ready to build their life away from television cameras. After doing “The Bachelor” and “Dancing with the Stars” over the course of the past. year, the couple revealed they just moved into their first official place together.
Kelsey Anderson & Joey Graziadei Are Settling Into a New Apartment
Graziadei and Anderson shared the update on their living situation via their Instagram Stories on December 3. Graziadei shared a short video revealing they were officially in their new Los Angeles apartment.
He captioned the short video, “Officially LA residents!!!”
The video showed the couple in the kitchen area of their new place, and Graziadei swung the camera over to the living area to show a pile of suitcases, boxes, and bags.
They both screamed briefly in excitement over their official move. Graziadei added, however, “Help we have no furniture.”
Anderson and Graziadei gave one another a quick kiss as a sneak peek of the apartment could be seen in the background. He said that despite not having any furniture, they were very excited.
A few hours later, Anderson shared a video via her Instagram Stories. The couple was at Home Depot picking up some essentials for their new place.
She was laughing over their first disagreement at the store, which was over garbage cans. Anderson joked she was “scared,” because Graziadei wanted to get a plastic garbage can for their kitchen.
Graziadei noted, “It’s a fourth of the price!”
Anderson won on this particular decision, however.
He may have wanted to go with the cheaper version, but they ended up choosing a Kohler stainless steel trash can for their kitchen.
“It’s literally where our GARBAGE goes,” Graziadei said in his defense. Anderson suggested they could get a nice one for the kitchen, and go with Graziadei’s pick for a less visible spot in the apartment.
The Couple Chose Los Angeles Over New York City for Now
During the November 12 episode of the “Lightweights” podcast, Graziadei confirmed the decision to stay in Los Angeles.
“I’m excited we decided to stay in L.A. I’m excited for us to build a home together,” Graziadei shared.
He added, “We got an apartment and I cannot wait to make it feel like something that’s really ours.”
Graziadei noted that they had a small apartment together provided by “Dancing with the Stars” as he competed on season 33.
However, “This is the first time we have a place that’s ours.”
“I’m excited about our next chapter because this is one we’ve been waiting for for a little bit,” he added.
As NOLA.com noted, Anderson and Graziadei initially lived in New Orleans together after “The Bachelor” ended. They stuck with the place where Anderson already lived, and that meant having roommates.
In the fall, they moved to Los Angeles so Graziadei could compete on “Dancing with the Stars.”
Before deciding to stay in Los Angeles, the pair had set their sights on living in New York. For now, however, they’ve chosen an apartment in California where they’ll begin the next chapter of their lives together.
