Paige DeSorbo has ended her relationship with Craig Conover after three years of dating.
The “Summer House” star shared the news on the December 30 episode of her “Giggly Squad” podcast with pal Hannah Berner, where she warned her co-host that she might cry. “Craig and I have decided to no longer be together,” DeSorbo said on the podcast. “I love him, I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends.”
“It’s weird, it’s very weird. I wasn’t expecting this,” she admitted. “Obviously, when we first started dating, you don’t think, ‘Oh, what will happen? Will we get married, will we not?’ You’re just kind of like, in this relationship.”
DeSorbo made it clear that the split came on the couple’s own timeline. “In terms of people saying rumors like, ‘Oh, Paige was told to like wait until ‘Southern Charm’ came out or ‘Summer House’ came out,’ no one can tell me what to do!” she clarified. “The network has power, but they don’t have that much power.”
As of this writing, Conover has not publicly commented on the breakup, but rumors had been swirling that there was trouble in the Bravo stars’ relationship.
DeSorbo said on the podcast that rumors of her and Conover breaking up months ago were untrue. But she added, “When we did break up… we both gave each other a little time to deal with it on our own in private with our family and friends.”

DeSorbo did not share the reason for the split. She simply shared, “No one did anything” and that the breakup “wasn’t a bad thing.”
“I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real-time and what you want for your future,” she told Berner.
“I have so much love and respect for Craig,” she said of the “Southern Charm” star.
She added, “I think he is one of the best people I’ve met in my entire life. I will remain the biggest fan for him and want the best for him, and he truly will get the best, because he is the best. But, with that said, I think it is the right decision for both of us moving forward in our lives and the direction in our lives that we didn’t force.”
DeSorbo and Conover were vocal about navigating their long-distance relationship between her home in New York City and his in Charleston, South Carolina. Neither seemed to want to move from their home city.
“I think a lot of people, when they hear long-distance, they think that it means that we don’t — well, I guess that in a traditional long-distance relationship, you don’t see each other a lot,” Conover told Page Six in October. “But Paige and I basically live together, and we just live in two different places.”

It was noticeable that DeSorbo wasn’t in the audience when Conover traveled to New York for a December 12 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.”
After Bravo host Andy Cohen asked him if he had any “announcements,” Conover laughed the question off. “Marriage, proposal?” he asked. “No, I would say congratulations. [Paige and Hannah] just finished a 56 [city] tour, sell-out tour. Three months. She’s in bed with her cat right now.”
Conover also shared that he had thrown all of his timelines for an engagement out the window. “I think a lot of those timelines were definitely enforced by me and I didn’t know any better. Also society,” he explained. “This is what I’ll admit now. I have no idea what’s going on at any point in time. We live in the week instead of obsessing about the future.”
