In “The Traitors” Season 3, Episode 9, Britney Haynes finds herself at a crossroads. As one of the few remaining Faithfuls with a sharp strategic mind, she’s played a careful game. From the start, Britney and Danielle had a built-in bond thanks to their “Big Brother” roots. While they haven’t always been on the same page, the shared history has kept them from turning on each other… at least, so far. With Carolyn’s banishment leaving a power gap in the Traitor ranks, Danielle has more influence than ever, and she knows Britney could be a valuable ally.
The biggest question is whether Britney sees more opportunity in flipping. Danielle has played a dominant game, and as the numbers dwindle, aligning with her could be the key to making it to the end. But Britney has also been a voice of reason among the Faithfuls, and switching sides could make her a prime target if the Faithfuls catch on.
Carolyn’s Take Following Banishment
Eliminated contestant Carolyn Wiger (“Survivor”) has some thoughts on what’s really happening in “The Traitor’s” castle. In an exit interview with Men’s Journal, she said, “Yeah, I was pissed,” suggesting that her exit didn’t play out exactly as it seemed on screen. “I’m like, ‘No, that was not like that. Were these confessionals done later?’”
Carolyn then speculated that Britney, along with Dylan, might have already been playing what fans have called a “Traitor Angel” game; essentially protecting a known Traitor for personal gain. “I was like, ‘Seriously, let’s just say it how it is. Y’all knew she was a traitor, girl.’” she said.
The bottom line is, if Britney has been quietly protecting Danielle all along, then flipping might not be as big of a leap as it seems. It would just mean making things official.
What’s Coming Next?
If Britney decides to take the offer, she’ll have to play it carefully. A new Traitor will definitely have a target on their back, especially one with deep ties to the Faithfuls. But staying Faithful isn’t a guaranteed win either.
