Jaybird’s song ‘Jaane Na Dena’ with Kaki and Parham Potki is the voice of all the lost people who wants to be rescued.

Less than 3 months after releasing his first Official Music Video ‘Kabhi Pyaar Na Karenge’, Jaybird released his heart-robbing song titled ‘Jaane Na Dena’, the song is written and composed by Jaybird and is sung by him and Kaki, also from India. The music which takes you in an altogether different aura is produced by Iranian Composer/Music Producer Parham Potki.

Announcing the release of the Music Video one month back on his social media, Jaybird left the fans waiting. But when it got release, listeners couldn’t stop gushing about the video. It’s a mystical, distressing yet magical and uplifting visuals that features the artist being stuck in his own mind, waiting and mourning to be rescued and wanting someone to tell him to hold on to his life. Although the fans can’t seem to recognise the video’s location, the music video is shot in Udaipur, India.

Jaybird’s song ‘Jaane Na Dena’ with Kaki and Parham Potki is the voice of all the lost people who wants to be rescued.

As the chorus lyrics speak for itself :

Tum mujhe rok lena
Jaane na dena
Meri aadat tumko pata hai
Jaane na dena

The boy is suffering and uses drugs to cope with his emotions but with time becomes addicted and wants to be rescued from all this. There might be some other hidden meanings behind Jaybird’s lyrics , but this one is the most prominent which all listeners seem to agree.

Kaki’s lyrics proves to be the words the boy was wanting to hear throughout the song. In the second half of the song, the girl is trying to help the boy, although in the music video she is portrayed as an spirit or angel, maybe trying to express her position in the boy’s life as an ‘Angel’.

Jaybird’s song ‘Jaane Na Dena’ with Kaki and Parham Potki is the voice of all the lost people who wants to be rescued.

These are just some assumptions about the meaning behind the song and as all say, ‘Art is Subjective’ and free for different interpretations.
