Kim Kardashian's "Momager" Pride as Daughter North Climbs the Charts

Kim Kardashian’s “Momager” Pride as Daughter North Climbs the Charts

It seems another generation of the Kardashian crew is already making waves. Kim Kardashian celebrated daughter North’s success after her song with FKA Twigs hit top 10 on the charts.

Kardashian put @ourgenerationmusic’s post about North on her Instagram reel.

The 11-year-old delivered a rapped verse in Japanese on FKA Twigs’ song “Childlike Things” on her new album “EUSEXUA.”

The song placed number six on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Pop Songs chart.

The mother-daughter duo also celebrated the song on their joint TikTok account.

Kardashian’s Daughter North’s Burgeoning Music Career

“Childlike Things” isn’t North’s first song or even her first time singing in Japanese. The preteen appeared on father Kanye West’s “Vultures 2” album singing in Japanese last year. Just ten-years-old at the time, North became one of the youngest artists ever to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 when Kanye’s song “Talking” hit number 30.

Kanye’s music video for “Talking/Once Again” features North. At the top of the track, she hums and sings and then raps the lyrics, “It’s your bestie. Miss, Miss Westie. Don’t try to test me. It’s gonna get messy. It’s gonna get messy. Just just bless me! Bless me!”

Kayne West Credits Daughter North With Inspiring His “Musical Resurgence”

After his brief appearance at the Grammys, Kayne West announced that he will drop his next album on daughter North’s 12th birthday. In an interview with Justin LaBoy, West said he will release his highly-anticipated “Bully” album on June 15, explaining that he chose North’s birthday because the new album is her favorite work of his to date.

On his Instagram account, Kayne wrote, “This little girl made me love music again. She asked me to make beats for her. I got back on the ASR Chopped up beats for album and chopped every beat with my bare hand for BULLY.”

Kim Kardashian’s New Role as “Momager” Will Be Featured in Reality Show

History is repeating itself as Kardashian takes on the role of “Momager” for daughter North’s burgeoning singing career.  In addition to her collaborations with her father and FKA Twigs, North performed as Simba in Disney’s 30th anniversary tribute to The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl last year. In the new trailer for season six of “The Kardashians,” Kim gasps, “I’m Kris Jenner. Oh my God, I’m Kris Jenner, what’s happening?” The family coined the phrase “Momager” when mother Kris Jenner famously managed her daughters’ skyrocketing careers.

The new season of “The Kardashians” debuts Thursday, February 6 on Hulu.
