A man-made his vision explicit and was sanguine about the path he chose for him and his follower’s future, he’s none other than their beloved sir Mr. Bivash Chowdhury. He believed from the very inception that he was destined to proffer the best dance company in India. He initially stepped in this world of entertainment in 2007 through a Zee Bangla flagship reality show DANCE BANGLA DANCE and prevailed over all and stood high as the BEST CHOREOGRAPHER. Furthermore his ascendancy continued in various reality shows like TWINKLE TWINKLE DANCING STAR (2009) and NACHBE TOLLY TAK DHINA DHIN (2010) regionally where he wrapped up winning the title medal.
As a stepping stone, from his victories he immediately started his dream project THE BAD SALSA, where students from diverse domains came to get trained by him and he became a brand name as ‘BIVASH SIR’. The students believe that BAD is one of the platform where they can fulfil their dreams by becoming a part of the best dance company in India to enhance as a dancing champ. Bivash Sir accentuated his ideologies and positive perspective towards life and the profession. He dedicated his viability to his dream project brooding every second for its buildout.
Bivash Sir subsequently shifted to The City of Dreams Mumbai to conquer and rule in the entertainment business with his dreamsv in bag of making The Bad Salsa prosper as the best dance company in India. With this ideologies he competed in India’s top-notch talented show India’s Got Talent (Colors Tv) in 2011 as The Bad Salsa with his students Akash and Dona. He delivered world records and never seen before manoeuvers that made the celebrity judges Kirron Kher, Sonali bendre and Dharmendra left in awestruck and the audience spellbound securing the runners up that year. He made a comeback in the same reality show after a year in 2012. This time he rewrote history with his two firm hands Sonali and Sumanth. This trio rendered epic performances with perfect culmination of Latin forms and Indian Bollywood tadka. The celebrity judges Malaika Arora Khan, Kirron Kher, Karan Johar and Farah Khan were wonderstruck with their noteworthy performances and this time procured their title by earning millions of hear’s love that voted for The Bad Salsa to make it the best dance company in India in the year 2012.
BAD SALSA were honored the trophy of India’s Got Talent S-4 by Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, which was an unforgettable gesture for any institution in the entertainment business. BAD then made its entry to the celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhlaja (Colors Tv) in 2013. By and large BAD here evinced a vast range of dance forms, proved the prime once again and set bars for the upcoming dancing generation. They were hold in esteem by the celebrity judges Remo D’Souza, Madhuri Dixit and Karan Johar. The nation supported their hard work, determination and dedication came to fruition. Their Unique presentation of dancing heeded many awards shows on Colors Tv, Star Plus, Life Ok, Zee Tv, ETV, NDTV, Sony and many more.
BAD had shared stage with many superstars of the nation which includes Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Harbhajan Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Manish Paul, Kapil Sharma and myriad of familiar faces of the Indian Cinema. They toured multitudinous countries and represented our motherland there with pride and honor. In the year 2017, BAD spotlighted in Dance Champions on Star plus judged by Remo D’Souza and Terence Lewis. We fought battles there from the kick-off itself and were the only competitors to hold on the unbeatable place. From then we were tag lined as the Unbeatable Duo. Bivash Sir was saluted from the judges and viewers for his excellent piece of artwork which brought a revolution in the dance world.
The Bad Salsa has been crowned The Best Dance Act at the Live Quotient’s Award 2013-14 and 2014-15. Bivash Sir has been medaled as The Ace Choreographer at Lions Club Gold Awards 2016. Bivash Sir with his love and passion made his dreams convert into reality as The Bad Salsa is the best dance company in the cultural heritage land of INDIA.
