Caralisa Monteiro is an Indian singer known for advertising jingles and Bollywood songs.
Early life
Caralisa Monteiro was brought into the world to Emeline Monteiro, a teacher at Wear Bosco Secondary School, Matunga and Neville Monteiro a show vocalist and a bookkeeper in Mahindra and Mahindra, she was presented to music very early in life. She went to Sophia School where she concentrated on Financial aspects and English. At 11 years old her mom passed on from disease. Caralisa started working with music chiefs Loy Mendonsa and Ehsaan Noorani of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. In the film Murmur Tum Aur Phantom, she played out the tune ‘Kal Tum The Yahan’ which was a two part harmony with Shankar Mahadevan. She likewise sang on “Sam’s Subject” from the film New York (film) and on Kabul Express she likewise played out the topic for Kaal while on Salaam Namaste she played out a two part harmony with Shaan.
She likewise sang in Tamil Film, including “Maaricham” a melody composed by music chief A. R. Rahman from the film Sillunu Oru Kaadhal in 2006 and “Porkkalam” from the film Yaaro Iran Yaaro. Independent Music
Monteiro entered and was one of the finalist on Sutasi, an Asian ability chase in 2008.
