Gundecha Brothers
The Gundecha Siblings are Indian traditional artists of the dhrupad type of the Dagar vani. From 1985 to 2019 the team comprised of siblings Umakant Gundecha and Ramakant Gundecha and were granted the Padma Shri for workmanship for 2012. Following the demise of Ramakant Gundecha in 2019, his child Anant started to perform with Umakant in the Gundecha bandhu.
Early life and background
They learned at the neighborhood Madhav Music School. Umakant has a post-advanced education in music and financial matters and the more youthful Ramakant in music and business. They moved to Bhopal in 1981 for preparing in Dhrupad music under Zia Fariduddin Dagar and his sibling Zia Mohiuddin Dagar. The two masters were second cousins of the two significant Dhrupad powers in the final part of the twentieth hundred years; two pairs known as the senior Dagar Siblings (Nasir Moinuddin and Nasir Aminuddin) and the lesser Dagar Siblings (Nasir Zahiruddin and Nasir Faiyazuddin) separately. Ramakant Gundecha passed on in Bhopal on 8 November 2019 from a cardiovascular failure at 57 years old. He was hitched and had a child. He was incinerated on 9 November 2019 in Bhopal.
Career

Controversy
On 4 September 2020, an understudy of Dhrupad Sansthan (preparing school run by Gundecha siblings) blamed the late Ramakant Gundecha and Akhilesh Gundecha of sexual maltreatment.
