Born of Korean, Japanese, and Mongolian ancestry, provocative, androgynous, multi-faceted indie pop artist Jhameel grew up in a sleepy town in Minnesota.
Inspired by Prince, Michael Jackson, and the high-energy, mercurial, electro-pop of bands like Phoenix and MGMT, the singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist self-released his song Lion’s Den in March,2014.
In this song he his just talking about his past life and the mistakes that he regret now and teaches everyone why one should not worry about those because over time they won’t matter anyways.
Some people say it’s about the life he had in 2010 when everything was going down for him.
The interpretation from the lyrics explains how at a young age one says and do awful things behind people’s back without even thinking about the outcome, the immaturity at that age leads everyone that way. But as one grow, one starts to realise every past mistake, and one’s brain make them the ‘Bad’ person in their own eyes.
He experience the same thoughts and says he don’t want to lose anything anymore from what he has done in past, he’s scared and want to run from those thoughts which is not quite possible.
