Meenakshi Srinivasan
Meenakshi Srinivasan (conceived 11 June 1971) is an Indian traditional artist and choreographer, and a type of the Pandanallur style of Bharatnatyam. She prepared under Alarmel Valli and is considered among the most encouraging soloists of the more youthful age of artists in this conventional style.
She has performed at the yearly worldwide dance celebration of the Madras Music Academy, the SIFAS Festival of Indian Classical Music and Dance in Singapore, and the Musee Guimet in Paris, among numerous others. She got the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar from Sangeet Natak Akademi in 2011.
Furthermore Srinivasan is an expert modeler and runs a shop engineering practice called Calm Studioin Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Early life and training
Brought into the world on 11 June 1971, in Chennai, Srinivasan accepted her preparation in Bharatanatyam first under Venkatachalapathy of Kalakshetra afterwards under Alarmel Valli.
Career and notable performances
She has been highlighted at significant sabhās in South India, like the Madras Music Academy, Brahma Gana Sabha, Krishna Gana Sabha.and the Margazhi Festival.

Srinivasan was granted the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar of Sangeet Natak Akademi, India’s National Academy for Music, Dance and Drama, in 2011 for her prominent ability in the field of Bharatanatyam.
