Nine Treasures: Blending Mongolian Heritage with Heavy Metal Power
The story of Nine Treasures began in the Hailar District of Inner Mongolia, China, in 2010. Founded against the backdrop of the vast Mongolian steppes, the band was forged by a group of talented musicians who shared a common vision – to create music that would honor their cultural heritage while pushing the boundaries of creativity.

The band's name, "Nine Treasures," carries profound significance. It derives from ancient Mongolian poems that enumerate nine materials believed to bring good luck: gold, silver, bronze, iron, agate, amber, jade, pearl, and coral. This auspicious name was suggested by a former member, who has since found success with the renowned Inner Mongolian folk band, Hanggai.
