Queen Hazarika
Sovereign Hazarika (conceived 16 October 1976) is an Indian playback artist and entertainer from Assam. She has sung for Assamese movies like Hiya Diya Niya Garam Botaah, Mon, Suren Suror Putek and Sneh Bandhan. She is the beneficiary of Rotational Youthful Achiever Grant in 2013. Around the same time she was selected for Prag Cine Grants in the Best Female Playback class.
Early life and career
Hazarika was brought into the world in Lakhimpur, a modest community in Assam to Raj Hazarika and Usha Gogoi Hazarika. She concentrated in St. Mary’s Secondary School in North-Lakhimpur and later moved on from Handique Young lady’s School in Guwahati. She created interest in various fine arts like music and acting from an early age and gave her most memorable show at four years old. Hazarika has acted and sung in various Assamese and Bengali movies. She has loaned her voice to various narratives delivered by Doordarshan, All India Radio and UNICEF among others. She additionally facilitated Programs for channels like DY 365, Center NE and News Live. In 2012, Sovereign accepted her most memorable acting proposal in an Assamese movie Surjasta from the movie chief Prodyut Kumar Deka. One of her cooperative works with Antara Nandy, Jim Ankan Deka and Ritwika Bhattacharya, Aawaz – oppose sexual viciousness, won numerous public and worldwide honors at various film and live events.
