While the world was trapped in the free for all of life on the planet, another voice unobtrusively slipped into South Korea’s non mainstream scene by painting her very own whole universe.
Seori – Music Career
Seori is a Korean R&B/Soul singer who has special voice and sharp melodic sense situated in South Korea. In 2019, she started to acquire consideration for her presence on melody covers on YouTube. She covered a few tunes like Khaild’s “Talk,” Rachael Yamagata’s “be your affection,” Abir’s “Tango, etc. These recordings generally together recorded in excess of 5,700,000 perspectives and permitted her to lay out great fan base even before her authority debut.
From a young age, she was heavily influenced by various artists including Coldplay, Avril Lavigne, Paramore and G-Dragon and started to compose her own songs when she was just 16 years old. Despite quietly making her way into South Korea’s music scene after her YouTube cover of Abir’s ‘Tango’ last year, she caught the attention of the music community and led to signing with Warner Music Korea under artist collective ATISPAUS. The singer had collaborated with several top K-pop artists in 2021, including Tomorrow X Together and former Day6 member eaJ. And in 2022, Seori joined Mamamoo’s Moonbyul on her single “Shutdown” from her third solo mini-album 6equence.In 2022, Seori became the first Korean female soloist to feature in the Grammy’s Global Spin series
After falling in love with her EP, Jae brought her into the spotlight with their upcoming collaboration ‘It Just Is’, which he initiated. Out on 23 September, fans of Jae have started showing their strong support for Seori as well.
