Soma Laishram

Soma Laishram (conceived 5 January 1992) is an Indian entertainer and vocalist who shows up in Manipuri films. She is a local of Imphal, Manipur. Nurei, Hoo Chaage, Loibataare Ta Raju, and Chanu IPS are a portion of her well known motion pictures. In September 2021, Laishram joined the Conservative Faction of India – Athawale (RPI-A) and expected the post of state unit leader of its childhood young ladies’ wing.

Early life and education

She did her schooling from Little Flowers School and Temple of Learning, Imphal. She completed her Bachelor of Arts from CMJ University.

Career

Laishram showed up in teleplays, show and moored as a program moderator in DDK Imphal. Her most memorable music video collection was Hello Young lady close by Mahes Thounaojam. Her most memorable film was Phijang Marumda, where she is playing a MBBS understudy, close by Rajkumar Kaiku in a supporting job. After this, she has done various Manipuri films. Among the striking ones are Loibataare Ta Raju, Ang Tamo, Amamba Sayon, Hoo Chaage, Toro, Hingbagee Mahao, and Nangna Nokpa Yengningi.

She played a sub controller in the 2012 film Ang Tamo. An independent music collection Angaoba Malang was likewise delivered where she sang in her own voice and acted. Starting around 2017, she has acted in a Meitei-Portuguese music video Nura Pakhang (Eu e Tu), coordinated by Romi Meitei and sung by Mangka Mayanglambam and Manuela Clã. In 2021, she was found in Homeshwori’s executive endeavor Ima Machet Icha Tangkhai.

Accolades

Laishram won the Best Entertainer Grant – Female for her job Thoinu in the film Enakta Leiringei at the eleventh Manipuri State Film Grants 2018. She won the Best Supporting Entertainer – Female honor at the tenth MANIFA 2022 for her job in the film Ima Machet Icha Tangkhai.

Off-screen work

Laishram was the brand ambassador of Kaizen Sports along with Hamom Sadananda and Oinam Bembem Devi.
