The actress’ acting career began back in 2010, when she worked in the south film Madrasapattinam with south star Arya. She soon ventured into Hindi cinema with Ek Deewana Tha where she was paired opposite Prateik Babbar and the film was directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. It was on the sets of this film that Prateik and Amy fell in love, and the two got similar tattoos inked to symbolize their love. Prateik got inked and wrote ‘Mera Pyaar Meri Amy’, while Amy got ‘Mera Pyaar Mera Prateek’ tattooed on her hand. But within a few years, the relationship crumbled but the tattoos remained.
And some time in 2017, the actress got the tattoos erased from her hand and as per a report, she told her friends that she will not be getting anyone’s name as a tattoo on her again. It was also shared that she got inked in the first place without putting much thought into it. The actress was then in a relationship with hotelier George Panayiotou and they also have a son together.
