Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya Box Office Collection: Film Inches Closer to Rs 50 Crore in India | – Times of India

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon‘s ‘Teri Baaton Main Aisa Uljha Jiya’ is considered an average fare at the box office. And yet, the numbers are encouraging as rom coms have not been doing well in the post pandemic era. The film opened at a decent single digit number of Rs 6.7 crore on its opening day and interestingly, it brought the same number on Valentine’s day as well.
On the other week days, it did in the range of Rs 3-4 crore on each day but on Valentine’s day it saw a good jump of Rs 6.7.Now on its second Friday, the film has made Rs 2.65 crore. With that, TBMAUJ, ends it week 1 with a total of Rs 47 crore in eight days, as per Sacnilk.com. As the film inches closer to Rs 50 crore at the domestic box office, the second Saturday and Sunday numbers will play a huge role in determining the film’s fate at the box office.
TBMAUJ’s week 1 numbers however, are less than that of ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ and ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ as per trade, though the latter was a much bigger movie. Though, overall, this one will be considered a good earner as the budget was well in place. Moreover, it had good returns from the digital and satellite rights which would bring around Rs 65-70 crore as per boxofficeindia. As far as the box office is concerned though, it will be pivotal for the film to continue its steady run in the coming week and hopefully, it should see a spike in the numbers over the weekend now as there is positive word of mouth.
There’s no major big star release lined up in the coming days, hence, TBMAUJ will get more space to hold steady at the box office.
