Sharad Kelkar also reminisced about the overwhelming response from audiences after the release of ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.’ He shared that people consistently praised the film and his portrayal of Shivaji, making it a matter of immense pride for him.
Despite not having the chance to play Shivaji in competitions during his upbringing, Kelkar recognized the learning ground the film provided him. Since Sharad hails from Madhya Pradesh, he has seen small tales of the iconic warrior in the textbook; and thus, he even requested the CM of the state to increase awareness about Shivaji Maharaj’s legacy.
