Throwback: When Alia Bhatt praised Ranbir Kapoor’s energy on the sets | – Times of India


Back in the days when Alia Bhatt was making her mark in the industry with hits like ‘Student Of The Year’ (2012) and ‘Highway’ (2014), she expressed anticipation about sharing the screen with none other than Ranbir Kapoor.
In 2015, when the news of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva’ was doing the rounds, the actress shared her excitement about working with the ‘Rocket Singh’ star.According to a Hindustan Times report, she said she is aware of the fact that Ranbir’s energy is simply superb.
She even spilled the bean that Ranbir is called a soldier by Imtiaz and his team, as he is always there for everyone. Alia added that as a co-star Ranbir is very adjusting and thus, he is the best actor to have on the sets.

Little did Alia or anyone at that point know that this was just the beginning of their happily ever after. Rumors of their off-screen chemistry started circulating during the filming of ‘Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva.’ The speculation took a definitive turn in 2018 when Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor made their relationship public, gracing Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception.
Fast forward to April 2022, and the two exchanged vows, marking the beginning of their marital journey. Their love story reached new heights in November 2022 when they welcomed their bundle of joy, their daughter Raha.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia and Ranbir will once again be seen sharing the screen space. They have joined forces for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War,’ in which ‘Sam Bahadur’ fame Vicky Kaushal will also be seen in the leading role.
