Machine Gun Kelly Opens Up About Megan Fox’s Pregnancy Loss in New Rap Song ‘Don’t Let Me Go’ | – Times of India

Machine Gun Kelly is spilling his heart out in his new rap song ‘Don’t Let Me Go‘. In the emotional track, the rocker opened up about the emotional turmoil he faced following fiancée Megan Fox‘s heartbreaking pregnancy loss last year.
Back in November 2023, Megan, revealed she and MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, had suffered a “very difficult” miscarriage.
The actress first addressed her pregnancy loss in her poetry book, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous. In the book, Megan reflected on seeing an ultrasound of a baby girl at 10 weeks, writing, “Maybe if you hadn’t … maybe if I had.”

MGK also previously alluded to the miscarriage in his June 2022 song ‘Last November’. In the song, he rapped, “One day and another 10 weeks / I never even got to hear your heartbeat / Tell me, could I save your life if I pressed rewind? / I wish I could go back to November last year.”
The new track ‘Don’t Let Me Go’ sees the musician rapping about his personal struggle while grappling with the harrowing loss of his baby, saying, “How can I live with the fact/ That my hand wasn’t on her stomach when we lost the baby?”
He also touches upon his most personal thoughts, childhood traumas and even suicidal ideations. “Laid in the bed thinkin’ maybe the hate will finally go away if I’m not alive,” he raps before pointing a finger gun to his forehead in the music video.
The star, who recently debuted a black-out tattoo covering up all his older body art, also touches upon his extreme new ink. He narrates, “Just like I wish they would understand me one time/ I had a breakdown and tatted my entire body except one line.”
