Kunal Kemmu’s ‘Madgaon Express’ gets a U/A certificate on condition of certain modifications and changes. | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Actor Kunal Kemmu is stepping into a new role as a director with his upcoming film ‘Madgaon Express‘. It stars Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, Avinash Tiwary, and Nora Fatehi in lead roles.
Now, as per the report by Bollywood Hungama, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has asked to make some modifications and changes before handing over the certificate.
According to the report, the Examining Committee of the CBFC has asked the makers to suitably modify the visuals of cleavage in the second half. And they also asked the producers to suitably modify’ the visual of semi-nude girls that occurs in the first half of Madgaon Express.
The report further added that a profane word was visible in the background at the start of the film. This offensive term was requested to be deleted. Additionally, the film underwent audio edits where certain curse words were replaced with more appropriate terms.
In addition to that, the CBFC instructed the producers of Madgaon Express to insert lengthy disclaimers that the movie is a piece of fiction and that they don’t intend to disrespect any community, city, state, class, community, region, etc. A second disclaimer, warning that consumption and trafficking of narcotics, drugs, and psychotropic substances is prohibited by law, was also added.
‘Madgaon Express’ unfolds as a comedy, following three childhood friends on a trip to Goa that takes an unexpected turn. This marks the first collaboration of the dynamic trio in a lighthearted comedy, ensuring a hilarious journey for the audience.
It is all set to hit theaters on March 22, 2024.
