Renowned actress Neetu Kapoor was recently seen engaging in a fun banter with paparazzi when she got spotted in the city. The actress, looking stylish in casuals, was snapped by the shutterbugs at a store while she was buying some flowers. When all of a sudden the camera captured her, Neetu Kapoor was taken aback upon witnessing them.
In the video shared by a paparazzi account, Neetu can be seen looking chic in a blue shirt and denim. When paps asked her to pose, she was all smiles. She jokingly said to them, “Aap log soong lete ho kya.”
On April 30, she posted a throwback picture with her late husband and actor Rishi Kapoor. Along with the post, she wrote, “4 years for us life can never be the same without you.” Neetu Kapoor, who got married to Rishi Kapoor in 1980, shared screen space with her husband in several films, including ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Kabhie Kabhie’, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and many more. The couple have two children, designer Riddhima Kapoor Sahani and actor Ranbir Kapoor.
On the work front, Neetu was last seen in the family drama film ‘JuggJug Jeeyo’ alongside Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Varun Dhawan. The actress will be next seen in an untitled project with Sunny Kaushal and Shraddha Srinath, which will be directed by Milind Dhaimade. Last year, Neetu Kapoor announced her association with the project.
This untitled, coming-of-age story will portray the endearing and realistic bond between a mother and her son. The film explores the importance of families, communication, and memories, as well as how they force us to grow up, all while keeping humour as its central theme. The goal of Milind Dhaimade’s film is to leave audiences wanting to see more family dramas.
After reading the script, Neetu Kapoor said, “When I read the script, I fell in love with it. It goes beyond the regular mother-son story and explores a different side that sets a unique tone to the rom-com genre. I am excited to be part of Lionsgate Studios’ first production, in a movie, I believe will touch hearts and remain close to my heart.”
