Janhvi Kapoor’s dress with cricket balls steals the show as she promotes ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ with Rajkummar Rao – WATCH video – Times of India

Janhvi Kapoor would be seen next in ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi‘ with Rajkummar Rao. The film revolves largely around cricket and as the name suggests, it can also be expected to have some reference to Mahendra Singh Dhoni who is called ‘Mahi’ by fans. The makers launched the first look posters and the trailer is yet to be unveiled. But Janhvi and Rajkummar were spotted promoting the movie in the city and were clicked by the paparazzi.
The ‘Dhadak’ actress wore a red leather dress but on the back of her dress, one saw miniature cricket balls and that stole the show.
‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ is Rajkummar and Janhvi’s second collaboration together. They earlier shared screen space in ‘Roohi’ but Janhvi had played a ghost in that film. This time around, fans will get a lot more of these actors together on-screen.

Earlier, when Janhvi had wrapped the film, she had penned a long note thanking the entire team. She shared some BTS photos and videos and wrote, “2 years since I first picked up my bat. And now we’ve finally wrapped #MrandMrsMahi 🏏 I thought I’d wake up today feeling lighter and relieved because we all gave more to this film than we thought was even possible. But I feel kind of empty. Like a blank canvas. I feel like we’ve been to war and back, and I saw so many heroes in action.”
Janhvi had further praised her director who she worked with in ‘Gunjan Saxena’ and co-star Rajkummar, calling him a genius. ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ is set to release on May 31.
