Gaurav’s Words about Cinema & Filmmaking
“Cinema has always been a great influencer in my life. My mother loves to watch films, and I remember watching all kinds of Hindi films with her since I was a kid. She used to introduce me to different movies, actors, and singers. From Manmauji to Billa, I even know numerous supporting actors because of my parents. However, my taste of films kept changing.”
“Several filmmakers have been a great teacher in my life such as Basu Chatterjee, Anurag Kashyap, Imtiaz Ali, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, James Cameron, Christopher Nolan, Frank Darabont, Martin Scorsese, David Fincher, and many more.”
“My long-term goal is to travel & film for the rest of my life. I always tell my friends that I would like to die on a film set. I am looking forward to making more meaningful films with a better production value.”
Gaurav believes in learning new things and techniques. He tries his hand in all the departments of filmmaking and strives hard to make himself better with each of his works. He wants to make The Raw Films a bigger production house in a near future with the motive of creating original and raw content.
