A.R. Rahman took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce dates for the North America leg of ‘The Wonderment Tour’. The Oscar-winning composer seems to have resumed his work following the health scare he faced that saw him getting admitted to a hospital. On the work front, last month, Rahman performed alongside renowned pop star Ed Sheeran at the latter’s concert in Chennai. Several videos from the concert showed Rahman and Ed jamming to a remix of Shape of You and Urvashi Urvashi. He had also composed the music for Vicky Kaushal’s blockbuster historical film, Chhaava. Ameen on Instagram.The news about Mr. Rahman’s hospitalisation comes just weeks after Saira Bhanu, now separated from Rahman, was hospitalised following a medical emergency and had to undergo surgery.Post her recovery, Ms. Saira acknowledged the unwavering support of her close friends, including sound designer Resul Pookutty and his wife Shadia, as well as her ex-husband Mr. Rahman.
