![Growing up learning Indian Classical Music, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for diverse musical genres, and techno is definitely one that has captured my interest. Got inspired to write this track by blending the beautiful melodies of Hindustani classical, particularly Raag Bhairav, with the beats of techno. Excited to share this fusion with you all!

BEN ANANSI(born Okwudili Bendonald Ojobor) is a new dawn in the Nigerian dancehall world, Anansi also known as “Badyute” by his fans. He is a singer and songwriter who knows no boundaries between styles and genres, creating a style that’s unique and personal.
Elements of Reggae, Hip hop and Afrobeats can be heard in his songs which gives him broad appeal among different demographics. He had been singing since he was a child and started writing music in his teens.
He was raised in Abuja, then settled to Lagos to pursue his music career alone with his childhood friend Pixieyemi. He attended Fine Trust Academy for his primary education and attended Government Secondary School Karshi for his secondary school in Abuja.Ben Anansi is currently in 300 level, Agricultural and Bio-Recources Engineering in the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
Ghetto Yute is Ben Ananasi’s first official single of the year 2017 featuring PIXIE. The soul melodic trap sound is promising to be the new street anthem for the youths them, who knowz the street commandments and the hustlers creed.
Hereleased another single “Tumble Me” and the video both in October 2017. “Tumble Me” won the Song of the year award in February 2018 at the SUG NIGHT AWARD in the University of Nigeria Nsukka. In october 2018 he released yet another single “Slow Down” followed by the visuals shortly.
Ben Anansi usually hosts his annual concert in Enugu, the heart of Eastern Nigeria, “UNPLUGGED BY BEN ANANSI AND FRIENDS” a live concert display of music from Ben Anansi and other artistes, both local and international.The first edition of his concert was on the 17th of June 2017 at Marlima arena in Nsukka, Enugu Nigeria. First Edition of “UNPLUGGED BY BEN ANANSI AND FRIENDS” won the award of excellence as the “Event of the Year” in Feb 2018 at the SUG NIGHT AWARD in the University of Nigeria Nsukka.This made the second edition of his annual “UNPLUGGED BY BEN ANANSI AND FRIENDS” a huge success, this second edition was held in the same venue as the maiden edition of his concert.
In January 2018 he was given the award of recognition and was featured in the Golden Edition of the Lionsworch Magazine. He put out “Kpelego” and shortly after released the visuals to Kpelego in January 2019.Released Shokoyokoto feat. Pixie and Chidokeyz in August 2019, Shokoyokoto has surpassed 40,000 streams on Spotify alone.Ben Anansi was the award recipient for NEXT RATED MUSIC ARTIST OF THE YEAR at Bold Awards 2019 for his outstanding contribution in the music world.“Badyute” is the newest song addition to his music library.
