N. J. Nandini
N J Nandini (conceived 5 August 1991) is a Carnatic music performer from Trivandrum. 2014 was a high note for Nandini, who has turned into the youthful substance of traditional music in the city. who was granted the Chembai Puraskaram, trailed by the Isai Chudai title and the M S Subbalakshmi partnership. Hailing from a group of rich melodic legacy, she has been sustained throughout the long term, by her famous masters, Prof Parassala Ponnammal, Prof P R Kumarakerala Varma, Dr S Bhagyalakshmi and Dr M N Moorthy. She has performed north of 700 shows inside India and abroad.
Early life and family
Nandini was brought into the world in a melodic family with performers of their times, her granddad Vechoor N Hariharasubramania Iyer, her uncle Vechoor C Sankar. Artistically established and slanted guardians – C Neelakantan and S Jayanthi, ensured that she got the best preparation and caused her to pay attention to practically every one of the shows in and around the city, in any event, when she was normal. Her sibling, NJ Nandagopal a CA by calling, who is a vocalist and mridangist too, likewise sustained her gifts in an extraordinary way. Her folks distinguished her ability when she was 3, as she began recognizing ragas, and began singing little tunes.
She got the first Rank in her +2, and when on with B.com in confidential review, and a MA in music getting the first Rank. She is at present chasing after a PHD in Music.
