Rudrajit Barman also known as Raj Barman was born on 30th October 1994 and is originally from Kolkata, India. He began pursuing music at age 15. He attended Julien Day School. He is a Playback Singer, Songwriter, Programmer, Composer, Live Performer. He came up with many songs that are loved by his fans in a very less period of time His July 2018 mashup video with Deepshikha went viral, being viewed more than 100 million times, which got overnight sensation thus got the attention of youths in India and music directors.and he also covered Sonu Nigam’s hit “Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin” which crossed over 8.8 million views on his Youtube channel, where he also covers the mashup of Bollywood and Bengali songs.
The star’s youtube channel currently has over 2.76 Million subscribers. He made his debut as a Playback singer with the film Meher Aali(2017) and Kuasha Jakhon (2018). He performs with his live setup named Raj Barman Live, and his live concert is a melodious experience that will stay in your memories for a long time. He won Best Playback Singer Telecine Awards Bengali Male 2018.Raj Barman lives with his father, mother, one sister, and with his single brother. His father’s name is Mrinal Barman & mother’s name is Sadhana Barman.Raj Barman joined Youtube on Oct 3, 2009. Currently, he has uploaded 61 videos and more than 160 million views.
