Shilpa Ananth is an Indian performer, lyricist, author, maker, and instructor whose work consolidates R&B, soul, jazz, and electronic music components with music styles from South India. Singing in Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, Arabic as well as English. she distributed her presentation collection Indian Soul in 2015. In December 2020, she was given the ‘Best Free Craftsman’ grant at the Blue Rhymez Diversion Privileged Grants.
Shilpa Ananth experienced childhood in Dubai concentrating on Indian old style music from the age of 3, singing bhajans and taking illustrations. At 13 years old, her more seasoned sibling acquainted her with Western styles of music, like jazz, rock, and hip jump, and she drew motivation from Western specialists like Norah Jones, Lalah Hathaway, and Ella Fitzgerald.
