Vibhuti Kavishwar, at the tender age of five, stepped in the world of music learning it from her father. Belonging to a family rooted profoundly to Music, she found her soul in the same. Continuing her aspiration, she took sessions with several gurus. She didn’t stop there, continuing to perform with ‘Swarvedh’, a music group at her homeland. She is a member of many music groups in Seattle, the USA thriving to widespread the essence of Indian music.

Being a recipient of ‘Lata Mangeshkar Award’, she has many feathers on her cap. She bagged an award for ‘Swarangan’, organized for North Americans by Eprasaran (Internet radio).

Her biggest audience has been, a whopping number of 50,000 people during her performance at the Maharashtra Kesari in Nagpur, India. She was titled ‘I am next Superstar’ by StarPlus, judged by Sonu Nigam and Suresh Wadhkar. She also won the BMM North America Marathi Saregama at San Francisco.

Early Years

Vibhuti Kavishwar was born in Korba, Chhattisgarh in India in a Marathi family. She belonged to a well-educated family; her father ‘Shri. L. D. Chausalkar’ is an Engineer(CSEB) and her Mother ‘Smt. Pratiba Chousalkar’ is a Senior Accountant(CSEB).

Vibhuti completed her school from her hometown and moved to Nagpur for higher education in the year 2001. And pursued a degree in B.Tech and later, M.Tech in Cosmetic Technology from LAD College Nagpur Maharashtra in the year, 2007.

Initiation of musical Journey

Raised in a home, soaked in music, dancing and singing were highly encouraged. As Music runs in her genes; her father, introduced her to music and taught her the sense of rhythm, followed by classical music, since she was five years old. Her family always stood as an unbreakable pillar, supporting her to participate in various functions at School and local talent Competitions molding her confidence, at the beginning of her journey. And later on, bagging awards, and performing at College events in Nagpur.

While exploring different genres in songs, Music became an indispensable component of her life.

She married a Software Engineer, ‘Mr. Shashank Kavishwar’ and moved to Seattle, Washington. Owning responsibilities, she still gave time to her ultimate passion by performing at local non-profit bands and winning National Competition, in a new land.

Her Contribution through Music

• Vibhuti desires, to heal people with her Art of Music. She wants to work for the people and donate money for those in need.
